Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Suffers Concussion Against the Cleveland Browns

Kansas City Chiefs can’t believe that they have lost their main quarterback after Patrick Mahomes was ruled out of the rest of the game against the Browns. The quarterback got off the game during the third quarter.

Mahomes was diagnosed with a concussion during Sunday’s Divisional Round, where the Chiefs were battling it out with the Browns. The game ended well for the Chiefs as they beat the Browns 22-17 to advance to the AFC Championship game. Sunday’s game was vital because it was their third consecutive win.

The Chiefs may have lost Mahomes to a concussion, but they progressively advanced to the next level. Unfortunately, they also announced that Cornerback Bashaud Breeland was taken off in the same Sunday game in the fourth quarter and was later on also diagnosed with a concussion.

Mahomes and Breeland are yet to have a valid return date into action following concussion health concerns. However, we believe that the Chiefs will still win more games despite such player losses as the team is literally on its best winning streak ever.

During the third quarter, we saw Mahomes getting up in a wobbly manner after he was brought down on the ground. He couldn’t bring himself up on his own, and he needed help to get off the field. We expected him to return to the game, but it was clear from the signal-caller that he wasn’t fit to play the rest of the game.

Mahomes was replaced by Veteran QB Chad Henne, who went on to help the team extend their score to 22-10 after contributing to a field goal. The Browns were determined to change the scoreline, but they managed to bring the losing score to 22-17.

Mahomes got off the field with only 11 minutes remaining for the game to end, but he was crucial before coming off. He contributed one touchdown and completed 21-of-30 passes for 255 yards. That’s not all! Mahomes helped the team with three rushes for 14 yards before another score to close the points gap.

The quarterback proved to be a solid player, ready to give it all for the team. Mahomes was seen struggling with a left big toe injury during the game, but that didn’t stop him from continuing play. He was seen limping at one time, but he didn’t miss any time to help his team beat the Browns.

The Chiefs have only lost two games out of 16, and they are on top of the AFC West standings. The two losses come from home defeats, and they have recorded an impressive 8-0 away win since the resumption of the current season.

The team was able to beat the Browns to win the NFL Divisional Round final, and they are now waiting for the NFL Conference Championships game against the Bills on Monday. The odds are towards the Chiefs despite losing Patrick Mahomes, but any score is possible with football.

We hope that Patrick Mahomes will be healthy and fit enough to get a spot-on Monday when the Chiefs face off the Bills.
